Living by the coast brings a different way of thinking about home.
Light, breezes, native landscape and outdoor living all influence how homes can respond to their setting.
The design guidelines bring these ideas together, with landscaping, orientation, natural ventilation and indoor-outdoor spaces considered from the outset.
In our latest video, Project Director Evan Aldridge and local builder Beau Small of Cooper Small, discuss the design principles shaping every home at Beachside Yaroomba and the thinking behind creating a coastal community that will feel considered from the very beginning.
The video also introduces the concept home designs developed for the community, showing how the guidelines can be applied across both single and double-storey homes.
It’s a look at what’s possible when the home, landscape and coastal setting are considered together.
